Nearly 150 people attended the 2009 Still Spirit Awards reception and ceremony April 1 at Truman State University. This year’s award recipients were Vera Burk; Heather Mitchell, Century 21; Jill and Mac McCord, Cottage Grove Bed & Breakfast; and Kenneth E. Hayes, community volunteer.
