ASDOH students garner awards

Scott Howell, D3, and Jennifer Logigian, D4, received awards for their poster presentations at the 25th Annual Meeting on Special Care Dentistry. Howell won first prize for his poster presentation, “Protocols for treating patients with end-stage renal disease: A survey of AEGD/GPR dental residencies,” and Logigian won second place for her poster, “Director reported special needs exposure in 12-month, US-based general practice residency programs.” Maureen Romer, DDS, MPA, associate dean for post-doctoral education, and director, special care dentistry, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, served as faculty mentor for both students.
