ASHS assists HealthSouth with equipment

ASHS PT students assembled more than 100 walkers, canes, and slide boards at the new HealthSouth rehabilitation hospital located next to ATSU’s Arizona Campus in Mesa on August 11. Five students volunteered their time to unpack and assemble the equipment.
“They were so grateful for our help. It was an excellent opportunity for the students and for the University,” said Lora Davis, P.T., D.P.T., academic coordinator of clinical education. “We plan to have a continual relationship with HealthSouth – whether it is through research, clinical education, or student volunteering.”
