ATSU-ASDOH instructor, alumna named Delta Dental of Arizona dental director

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) instructor and alumna Heather Schneider, DMD, ’17, was recently named dental director at Delta Dental of Arizona.
Dr. Schneider had previously worked with Dental Dental in a consulting role. In her new position, she will oversee the organization’s dental consultants and utilization management program.
“Dr. Schneider brings a fresh perspective, energy, and invaluable first-hand knowledge of patient care and dental practice management to our day-to-day business,” said Allan Allford, president and CEO of Delta Dental of Arizona.
“Dr. Schneider is known by our team as well as by her patients, students, and colleagues for her genuine ability to care for, uplift, support, and connect with people.”
Following her graduation from ATSU-ASDOH, Dr. Schneider completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through NYU Lutheran Hospitals in Mesa, Arizona. She is an active member of national and state dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Arizona State Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, Academy of General Dentists, and American Dental Education Association.
