ATSU-ASHS athletic training faculty members recognized for published research

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences’ (ATSU-ASHS) Athletic Training department faculty members Kenneth C. Lam, ScD, ATC, associate professor, clinical research, health sciences; Ashley Marshall, PhD, MEd, ATC, CES, PES, adjunct faculty, athletic training; and Alison Valier, PhD, ATC, FNATA, professor, athletic training, were recently recognized for their article, “Patient-Reported Outcome Measures in Sports Medicine: A Concise Resource for Clinicians and Researchers,” which was first published in April 2020 by Journal of Athletic Training.

The trio earned the 2020 Journal of Athletic Training Clint Thompson Award for Clinical Advancement. The award is given annually to an outstanding manuscript in a category other than original research, in honor of Clint Thompson, MA, ATC, who has been involved with Journal of Athletic Training since 1970 and served as editor for 14 years.
