ATSU-ASHS names Dr. Fay Doctor of Physical Therapy program director

Deanne Fay, PT, DPT, PhD

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences’ (ATSU-ASHS) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program has named Deanne Fay, PT, DPT, PhD, as program director.

Dr. Fay was a founding faculty member of ATSU’s DPT program, first joining the faculty in 1995. She is a professor and teaches in the area of pediatrics, and has served as the program’s director of curriculum since 2011. She has also worked on many University committees.

Dr. Fay is an international classifier for Paralympics and has been engaged in adaptive sports at the local and national levels for more than 20 years. This year, she attended the Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan. She has also been active in the American Physical Association in the pediatric and research sections.

“I am grateful for Dr. Fay’s willingness to take on this new role with the Physical Therapy department and look forward to working with her to advance the program and the profession,” said Lori Bordenave, PT, DPT, PhD, Physical Therapy department chair.
