ATSU-ASHS presents awards to DPT class of 2020

A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) celebrated achievements of the doctor of physical therapy class of 2020 through a virtual graduation awards ceremony. Lori Bordenave, PT, DPT, PhD, director of physical therapy, hosted the event, while other faculty members took turns presenting awards.

“You are the first cohort of students to go through our new curriculum. And we know that there were moments when that was challenging because we were figuring things out right alongside you all figuring things out,” Dr. Bordenave said. “It has been a three-year journey; it is one of those journeys that seems really long while you’re doing it. But then when you get to this point, it seems like you started yesterday. It is so amazing to be able to be here with you celebrating, such as it is. Congratulations to all of you.”
