ATSU-ASHS to hold second backpack fundraiser for Helen’s Hope Chest

This month, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) Staff Assembly is holding a backpack fundraiser on the University’s Mesa campus. Donations will benefit Helen’s Hope Chest, an organization that provides school supplies to children in need. Collection begins tomorrow, July 19, and ends next Friday, July 28.

This year, Helen’s Hope Chest is in need of school supplies for high school students. This includes items like backpacks, binders, folders, pens and pencils, notebooks, highlighters, and markers.

Collection bins will be located on the second-floor landing of the main building, as well as in the Human Resources suite and the Student Affairs office. The following ATSU-ASHS Staff Assembly representatives are available to collect monetary donations: Amanda Vigil, Leslie Hicks, Bonnie Trahan, Erlinda Cisneros-Johnson, and Teri Rorie. To make a monetary donation, give checks made out to Helen’s Hope Chest to Cindy Becerra or one of the representatives listed above before July 28.

Please contact Cindy Becerra at cbecerra@atsu.edu for more information about the fundraiser.
