ATSU-KCOM Dean Margaret Wilson appointed chair of AACOM ethics task force

Dean of A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Margaret Wilson, DO, ’82, has been appointed chair of the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine’s Task Force on Ethics and Professionalism.

The task force has been charged with evaluating professional, ethical, and educational standards and making recommendations to strengthen every aspect of the osteopathic medical education system.

“Integrity, ethical behavior, and professionalism are at the core of what makes us physicians,” says Dr. Wilson. “I am honored to have been chosen to participate in this very important work, influencing how osteopathic medical students are taught. As a profession, we are here to serve our patients and the public, and we must always strive to do better.”
