ATSU-MOSDOH students help Give Kids a Smile in St. Louis

On Feb. 19 and 20, students from A.T. Still University’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) volunteered alongside other area 20160220_105448dental students, hygienists, professionals, and community members to help Give Kids a Smile (GKAS) in St. Louis, Mo. A total of 39 ATSU-MOSDOH students participated in the weekend event designed to provide free dental care to children. The mission of Give Kids a Smile is to deliver quality dental services to children – particularly the underserved. This was the 29th clinic for GKAS, and it took place on the campus of St. Louis University. A total of 349 children were treated over the weekend. The total value of the free services provided was $314,851.
