ATSU-MOSDOH students present Lessons in a Lunchbox

Bucky the Ram of Reason and a Kirksville Primary School student get ready to high-five during ATSU-MOSDOH's Lessons in a Lunchbox event.

Kirksville Primary School second graders recently learned some oral healthcare tips and walked away with some valuable oral healthcare tools thanks to A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) students.

ATSU-MOSDOH brought Lessons in a Lunchbox to Kirksville, Missouri, children earlier this month. The program included a video about oral healthcare practices, small-group meetings with dental students, and a lunch box filled with a toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, and more for children to take home.

Lessons in a Lunchbox is a program in partnership with The Children’s Oral Health Institute. It aims to provide children with information so they form healthy oral healthcare habits at a young age.
