Posted In: MOSDOH, Student Headlines

First-year A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry& Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) students participated in the Missouri Mission of Mercy (MOMOM) event on May 2-3 at the Chaifetz Arena on the campus of St. Louis University. Christopher Halliday, DDS, MPH, dean, and Dennis Thousand, DDS, assistant professor, attended the event with 33 ATSU-MOSDOH students.

MOMOM is a large-scale dental clinic that provides free oral healthcare to patients of all ages who cannot otherwise afford care. MOMOM events across America have been providing free dental services for the underserved since 2000. All together, volunteers served 1, 616 patients and delivered $915,995 in free dental care.
