ATSU-SHM hosts road race

A.T. Still University’s School of Health Management held its first Dash for disAbilities 5k road race on July 11, 2013. Participants could also take part in a 2.5k walk/run and a kid’s race.
The benefactor from the event was Adair County People First, a self-advocacy group. The race brought in approximately $2,000.
The top three male and female finishers in the 5k and 2.5k received a medal.
Around 60 athletes turned out for the race, which organizers say will become an annual event.
