ATSU-SHM staff volunteer for food program

Staff from A.T. Still University’s School of Health Management (ATSU-SHM) volunteered for a good cause on July 22-26, 2013.

ATSU-SHM is staffing the Food 4 Kids program in Kirksville, where children can go to the community parks for a free lunch during the summer months. The program is put on by the Food Bank for Central and North Missouri.

ATSU-SHM helped feed more than 25 kids per day at P.C. Mills Park.

Katherine Adler, DHA, associate dean, says ATSU-SHM is eager to get more involved in the local community, and saw this opportunity as a way to help out.
