ATSU-SOMA Innovator’s Gala 2019

Presented by A.T. Still University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA).

Please join us to honor the graduating class of the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. For more information, please email somagala@atsu.edu.

When: Thursday, May 23, 2019

Where: The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Phoenix-Gilbert.

Those interested in overnight, on-site accommodations can reserve a room at the special rate of $105/night, plus applicable fees, by going to DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix-Gilbert. This rate is available one day before and three days after the event if you’d like to extend your stay. Book by April 23, 2019. Guest rooms at this rate are limited and subject to availability so book early!

Who: ATSU-SOMA 2019 graduate and one complimentary guest ($110 per additional guest ticket).

If you are unable to attend or will not be using your complimentary guest ticket and would like to transfer your ticket(s) to another guest, please email somagala@atsu.edu.

Invitations: To be mailed out at the end of March 2019.

Registration: An Eventbrite link will be sent by email in April 2019 to all invitees. This is where you will RSVP and register for the Innovators’ Gala.

Black Tie Optional

Black tie optional is normally followed at large business or formal gatherings. If an invitation specifies ‘black tie optional’, it means that the guests have the choice to wear formal attire, but personalize a bit according to their preferences. Despite allowances for personal flair, it is still necessary for men to wear some manner of suit, and women to wear gown or cocktail-type apparel.

Dinner menu

Salad: Romaine hearts and mixed garden greens, sliced strawberries and mandarin oranges, sunflower seeds
Sherry vinaigrette and raspberry vinaigrette
(all vegan/gluten free)

Entrée: Duet of petite grilled New York strip filet steak with bordelaise sauce, paired with boursin and spinach stuffed chicken breast with fresh herb sauce
White cheddar mashed potatoes
Green beans and roasted red pepper

* Vegan/vegetarian – Braised carrot osso buco with baby portobello and pearl onions, in a red wine mushroom broth atop mashed potatoes
* This entrée selection is also gluten/dairy/nut-free
