ATSU-SOMA professor named chair of Anatomy department

Anna Campbell, PhD, associate professor at A.T. Still University-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA), has been appointed chair of the Anatomy department effective July 1, 2020.

Dr. Campbell received her PhD in anatomy from Pennsylvania State University-College of Medicine and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Alaska Fairbanks. Dr. Campbell has served as a faculty member at ATSU-SOMA since 2012, where she has taught in the Anatomy department and served on numerous committees. She is the author of a number of scientific articles and is the recipient of two grants. 

Dr. Campbell is also a recipient of the Penn State College of Medicine Star Award – awarded for teaching assistant excellence; and has received numerous funding and scholarship awards for her excellence in teaching.
