ATSU-SOMA students meet with D.C. councilwoman
Posted: October 2, 2014Ten second-year ATSU-SOMA students at the Parkside Community Health Center (part of Unity Health Care) in Washington, D.C., had the opportunity to meet recently with District of Columbia Councilwoman Alexander at the facility.
“We discussed what it means to have a medical school present in one of the most under served areas of the Nation’s Capitol,” said T. Blaise Springfield, OMS II, MPH candidate, ATSU-SOMA.
