ATSU’s Missouri campus offers two specialized rooms

Students, faculty, and staff on the Kirksville, Missouri, campus have the opportunity to utilize two unique rooms in A.T. Still Memorial Library. The Meditation and Reflection Room and the Military and Veteran Room opened for use last April.

The Meditation and Reflection Room provides a designated space where users can quietly reflect on what gives each of them meaning, whether through meditation, prayer, or personal reflection.

Veteran and military students can connect with one another and access military resources in the Military and Veteran Room. The room can be utilized for studying or relaxation, and it provides them access to military email and documents without leaving campus.

Both rooms were designed and developed by Student Life. The idea for the Meditation and Reflection Room was a result of suggestions from students, the Diversity Enrichment Committee, and University Staff Council. The Military and Veteran Room was created to show appreciation to A.T. Still University’s military community.
