Michael Conte, OMSII, recipient of the 2009 Carol Funk Memorial Award to the Cranial Academy, shows Bob Behnen, director of development, one of the valuable facts about fetal cranial development that he learned at this year’s Cranial Academy Convention and Program.

The memorial fund, sponsored by Robert Funk, is in memory of his wife Carol Funk’s lifelong relationship with osteopathic medicine. Each year, the fund sponsors one ATSU student’s attendance to the American Academy of Osteopathy‘s Convocation and another to the Cranial Academy’s Convention.
