“Casino Royale” Spring Fling

Hundreds of ATSU students attended the annual Arizona Campus Spring Fling event on April 25. This year, Student Government Association organizers opted for a fanciful theme, straight out of a James Bond movie. “Casino Royale” was held at the Windemere Hotel and Conference Center in Mesa, Ariz., from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Perfect weather allowed for poker and blackjack tables to be set up on a large outdoor veranda surrounding the event venue. Attendees each received faux money vouchers for hours of table play. The ballroom venue featured disco lights, a deejay spun music, and guests danced and enjoyed a lavish buffet of appetizers. For those who wanted to slip away for conversation, a large garden area next to the veranda featured tables for rest and repartee.
