Dean Dillenberg elected COH board chair
Posted: February 8, 2013Jack Dillenberg, DDS, MPH, dean, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, was recently elected board chair for the Center for Oral Health (COH). Founded in 1985, the COH is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting public oral health. COH collaborates with national, state and local partners to inform policy-makers, educate healthcare providers, and develop innovative community-based models to improving oral health outcomes while exercising financial prudence.
“I have been working with the Center for Oral Health for years, and I am proud of the impact it makes on the oral health of millions of Californians,” said Dr. Dillenberg. “I am confident that with the new leadership, COH will maximize its output to advance knowledge, inform public policy, and inspire solutions to the complex barriers that hinder the oral health of so many Americans.”
Conrado Barzaga, MD, executive director of COH, said that Dr. Dillenberg’s election as board chair is a great addition to COH. “His leadership, creativity and enthusiasm will enhance our ability to execute our mission of improving oral health through innovation, research, education and advocacy,” said Dr. Barzaga.
