Mai-Ly Duong, DMD, MPH, ’12, alumna, associate professor, and associate director of special care dentistry at A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH), was recently named one of Phoenix Business Journal‘s 40 Under 40. The awards program recognizes the region’s top business and civic leaders under the age of 40. Dr. Duong was nominated for her commitment to her career and the community.

“I am so humbled and proud to be recognized as one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s 2019 40 Under 40,” says Dr. Duong. “This award is a testament to the countless hours, enthusiasm, and hard work of the volunteers that have supported our amazing community outreach initiatives in Arizona. At Day for Special Smiles, we provided over $100,000 of dental work to adults with special needs, and at the Arizona Oral Cancer Walk, we raised over $125,000 to increase professional education programs, research efforts, and treatment for individuals diagnosed with cancer. I’m so appreciative of the opportunity to serve our wonderful community.”
