Dr. Farris addresses PT among top growth careers

Jim Farris, PT, PhD, chair, A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences physical therapy department, was recently interviewed regarding the growth of physical therapy as a profession and career opportunities.

According to the article in Advance for PT & Rehab Medicine, the Bureau of Labor Statistics sites physical therapy as one of the fastest growing professions. “Of careers that require a masters’ degree or higher, physical therapy is ranked 6th on their list of the fastest growing jobs.”
