Figshare: research data management tool

Figshare is an online platform for academic research data management and research data dissemination. It accepts all file types, and files are viewable through a browser. Figshare enables you to upload, share, cite, and discover all manner of research outputs. The data stays secure with their various hosting options and long-term preservation. Figshare seamlessly integrates with other tools such as Github, so Figshare can be used to make the data persistent. You own your data and you control how it is shared.
Figshare is a great place to promote your research and raise your profile as a researcher. Your research is discoverable with use of relevant tags, to assist people in finding your research. Rich metadata such as a descriptive title or appropriate key words leads more people to finding your research. By hosting on Figshare, you can easily share your research on social media, and track the Altmetric stats. Figshare deposits are indexed by Google Scholar, and datasets are included in the Google Dataset search results.
