Healing and understanding in art
Posted: February 23, 2010For PA student Robin Lee, MS, NREMTB, art has always been a stress reliever, even as early as grade school.
“At times, it was used to describe emotions that I didn’t have words for,” she says. “Other times, it was a way to make inexpensive but sincere gifts for people when I couldn’t buy anything. Still, it serves as a means of distraction in difficult times and is a less expensive hobby than shopping (my husband’s least favorite of all).“
