Helping hands help others

A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) students lent a helping hand on Monday, Feb. 19.
The ATSU-KCOM American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians and Alpha Phi Omega co-sponsored the “Build-a-Hand” event. More than 30 volunteers built 10 prosthetic hands, which will be distributed to amputees in one of 65 developing countries.
This project was funded by the Kirksville Osteopathic Alumni Association, Student Government Association, and the two sponsoring clubs.
