KCOM dean appointed to editorial board

American Osteopathic Association (AOA) member Philip C. Slocum, D.O., dean of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University, was appointed to the editorial board of the American Journal of Medicine, the official journal of the Association of Professors of Medicine, a prestigious group comprised of chairs of departments of internal medicine at more than 125 medical schools across the country. According to Joseph Alpert, M.D., editor-in-chief of the Journal, Dr. Slocum is the first osteopathic physician appointed to the editorial board.
