Continuing medical education is required for all osteopathic physicians to retain board certification and is also required by the Board of Registration for the Healing Arts for licensure renewal in Missouri. The Missouri Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians is the state specialty society for osteopathic physicians who specialize in family medicine and is an affiliate of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. Collins is the current Missouri ACOFP president, residency director of the Family Medicine Residency Program, and is an assistant professor at A.T. Lectures were developed to assist physicians in their daily practice, offering current information regarding diagnosis, treatment of diseases and injury, and advances in medical technology. In addition, the physicians had an opportunity to attend the scientific exhibit hall where they had time to discuss new health related products and services, as well as the latest developments in new pharmaceutical products, office technology, and medical equipment.
