Missouri Smile Forward® goal met

February 2, 2015
Posted In: Alumni Headlines, University Headlines

A.T. Still University’s (ATSU) Missouri Smile Forward® program met and surpassed its goal of raising $75,000. Missouri Smile Forward® is an uncompensated care fund created to provide oral healthcare services for patients with little or no dental insurance benefits and demonstrate financial need. Allowing patients the option to keep their smile through funding assistance for dental restorative services is at the heart of the Missouri Smile Forward® program.

The final total raised for 2014 was $117,706.44. Through generous supporters, ATSU surpassed its initial goal by an additional $42,706.44. The Missouri Smile Forward® program received contributions from a broad range of donors including Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority and Episcopal Presbyterian Health Trust.

The Missouri Smile Forward® website will re-launch early this spring with a video featuring several native St. Louis students who are now enrolled in ATSU’s Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health.
