New adjustable desks and soft furniture in ATSU campus libraries

The library is delighted to announce the arrival of new study furniture and seating options in both campus libraries, which we hope will add greatly to your library experience.

The campus libraries each added new power-adjustable Uplift standing desks with tall wobble stools to allow easy movement between resting and standing. You will find six of them in the Missouri campus library’s basement quiet study area, and two in the Arizona campus library’s open study space. Each has sound-blocking side shields to allow you to have both privacy and reduced distraction while still being in the group space.

The Missouri campus library also added additional single-study tables, additional exercise balls, Zenergy ball chairs, and several enormously large beanbags in the basement quiet area. Come by and try them out, as well as the new bicycle desks. We have tried to add as many options for comfort and movement to your study options as possible – come let us know what you think!

As a reminder, each campus library also now has camping-style chairs that you can borrow to take out and about anywhere on the campus lawns.
