New faculty members have settled in at the department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences at ATSU’s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS). Jeff Alexander, Ph.D., has moved from the Human Movement program to the Doctor of Health Sciences program as assistant professor. Dr. Alexander will develop and manage the applied research project component of ASHS’ newest degree offering.

Derek Bunker joined the Human Movement program as an instructor and Dr. Tracie Rogers joined as assistant professor to support the growing program. Dr. Kathleen Mathieson also joined the department as assistant professor of biostatistics. She will work closely with Curt Bay, Ph.D., to serve ASHS students and faculty engaged in scholarship.
