The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Emerging Infectious Diseases published an article in March by fourth-year KCOM student Michelle Kim on coccidioidal pneumonia. Kim is currently completing her second year of clinical rotations in the Arizona Region under the supervision of Associate Regional Dean Robert Ligorsky, D.O. Kim’s research interests are breast cancer, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and genetic variances in high-density lipoproteins.
