The KCOM Student Government Association (SGA) held its Gutensohn Awards and Student Doctor of the Year Award Ceremonies on May 6 in the Mehegan classroom. “These were great honors to the two professors and one student doctor who were presented with these very prestigious awards,” said Sara Warren, OMS I, SGA president-elect.
This year’s Gutensohn Awards were presented to Neal Chamberlain, Ph.D., associate professor, microbiology/immunology; and to William Sexton, Ph.D., professor, physiology. The Student Doctor of the Year Award was presented to Brad Scoggins, OMS II.
