Cancer won’t sleep for one night, and we won’t either!
Posted: January 25, 2013Faculty, staff, students, and their families are invited to participate in ATSU’s first Relay for Life event being held May 4 -5 on our Mesa campus.
Teams will camp out on the front lawn of the main building, and members of each team will take turns walking – relaying for life! Participants will also remember people lost to cancer, and honor people who have fought or are fighting cancer during the Luminaria Ceremony on Saturday evening.
Food, games, and entertainment will start on Saturday and continue through Sunday.
To donate, start a team or join a team – visit ATSU’s site: relayforlife.org/atstillu. Please contact Bridget Spooner with questions.
We hope you’ll consider helping us make this a huge success!
Relay for Life is an organized, overnight community fundraising walk for the American Cancer Society (ACS). All proceeds raised will benefit cancer research, treatment and other critical services provided by ACS.
