ASDOH & NCAIHP host Society of American Indian Dentists continuing education courses as part of annual conference

The 2016 Society of American Indian Dentists (SAID) Annual Conference was held July 8-11 at Four Points by Sheraton at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Aiport. As part of the conference program, A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) hosted the continuing dental education courses at the Jack and Jamie Learning Center on the ATSU Arizona campus. The conference featured guest speakers Darlene Sorrell, DMD, SAID president, as well as presentations by ATSU-ASDOH faculty and staff and a student panel. Attendees were also provided with a tour of ATSU-ASDOH facilities. In the conference program introduction, Dr. Sorrell noted “Our conference offers professional continuing education provided by world-class speakers.” “And it provides us the opportunity to come together as individuals from our American Indian nations. Our numbers may not be as large as other organizations, but as a group our voice is strong.” _2016-06-09_SAID Presentations_01_2016-06-09_SAID Presentations_17
